Yes, it’s a big problem. Violent crime is increasing, but the media likes those stories. Theft is increasing. I think many people are prepared to get rich by any possible means.
2、Which kind of crime do you think is the biggest problem in your region?
I think theft. People steal from other people and from companies. They want to get rich quickly. People need to be more careful about theft, but it’s a crime that will never be eliminated.
3、What do you do to protect yourself and your home from thieves?
I’m very careful to lock all the windows in my home before going out. I do this even if it’s a hot day, so the house can get very hot inside. If I use my bicycle, I use a bicycle chain.
4、Do you often read newspapers about crime?
There lot’s of stories about crime in newspapers, but I hardly ever read them. Crime is an everyday thing. If the crime isn’t unusual, it doesn’t get my attention.
