善用OSI提供的工具

OSI公司的开发了一系列的监控企业IT系统运行状况的接口软件，该系列软件按照功能分为三个部分:

• 监测IT系统运行是否正常的接口软件，包括Ping，TCPResponse

• 监测IT系统运行性能的接口软件，包括Performance Monitor，SNMP，SNMPTrap

• 监测IT系统安全状况的接口软件，包括NetFlow，Packet Capture，SysLog

用户在安装PI服务器软件的时候，会自动安装PI Performance Monitor，SNMP，PING接口软件的BASIC版本。 (这些接口程序是包含在PI服务器软件中的，不用白不用)

PI Ping Basic Interface (限制32个位号，只能运行一个接口 )

PI SNMP Basic Interface (限制32个位号，只能运行一个接口)

PI Performance Monitor Basic Interface (限制512个位号，只能采集本服务器的性能数据，只能运行一个接口)

PI Performance Monitor接口对Windows NT/2000/XP 性能监视计数器 (和PI计数器)提取数据并存档，可以对以下项目进行监视：

用户可以使用PIPerfCreator.exe或者是PI-smt程序管理这个接口的位号。

piarchss_Archived Events/sec	Rate of successful event addition to the archive.
piarchss_Cache Flush Operations/sec	Rate at which points are flushed to disk.
piarchss_Cache Record Count	Archive cache records in memory.
piarchss_Events Read/sec	Rate of archive events read.
piarchss_Time to Archive Shift	Number of hours until the archive is projected to shift. This time is not calculated if the archive is less than 20% full.
pibasess_Point Count	Total number of defined points. This number includes the Connector Point Count.
pibasess_Module Count	Total number of modules in PI Module Database.
pisnapss_GetSnapshots/sec	Events read from the snapshot.
pisnapss_OutOfOrderSnapshots/sec	Out of order events sent to the snapshot.
pisnapss_Queued Events/sec	Events sent to event queue.
pisnapss_Snapshots/sec	Events sent to the snapshot.
piarchss_Primary Archive % Used	Percent of used records in Primary Archive File
piarchss_Total Unflushed Events	Total number of unflushed events.
pisnapss_Events in Overflow Queues	Total of events in the overflow queue files.
pisnapss_Events in Primary Queue	Number of events in the primary queue file.
pisnapss_Number of Overflow Queues	Number of overflow queue files (0 if only the primary queue is active).

SNMP接口从网卡，路由器，交换机等支持SNMP协议的设备处系统网络监视信息，用户可以使用PI-SMT中的IT Points中的SNMP管理该接口的位号配置。
3 、PI Ping 接口

PI Ping接口存储到网络上另外一台计算机的 PING 反应时间，用户可以使用PI-SMT中的IT Points中的Ping管理该接口的位号配置。
