Due to my recent work need to use Vim and linux shell programming， I gathered some nice articles about self-learning those relative knowledge. Here I share them for you , hope it does work :)
first, you need some shell exprience. Bash Guide for Beginners by Machtelt Garrels is a good start point.
after you known the basic about bash, you must need some editor to pratice your idea. Vim is my choice since it exist on my redhat :). Of course, if you are beginner with it, you need some tutorial. This link show you a nice free book:The Vim book by Steve Oualline.
last, you will excel shell and vim if you use them as more as you could. Here is a guide may help you imporve you skill more quickly:Advanced Bash-Scripting Guide by Mendel Cooper.
