A new self-installer for WinBoard 4.2.7 is now available at
http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/winboard/winboard-4_2_7b.exe.
This installer is reported to work on Vista and should also work more smoothly than the old one on other versions of Windows. Thanks to Mark Ioli for putting it together! (And my apologies for not making it available much sooner.)
