Linux Kernel是开放源码操作系统Linux所使用的内核。         Linux kernel 3.7.5之前版本中的security/integrity/evm/evm_crypto.c中的evm_update_evmxattr函数中存在 漏洞。当使用扩展的验证模式(EVM)时，通过尝试在sockfs文件系统的inode上的removexattr操作，本地攻击者利用该漏洞导致拒绝服 务（空指针引用和系统崩溃）或可能产生其他未明影响。
