Background :
Suddenly, my machine is not able to able to access some inermal websites.
acess url : http://ewsms1:91/jde/E1Menu.maf
but able to access http://ewsms1.abc.local:91/jde/E1Menu.maf
tried:
ipconifg /all
ipconifg /flushdns
ipconifg /release
ipconifg /release6 (ip6)
ipconifg /renew
ipconifg /renew6 (ip6)
restart and still not working .
then found , the DNS Suffix Search List is missing most of sites.
Solution:
1.Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
2.Right click "Ethernet" , ->Properties
3.In the properties window, select "Internet Protocol Version4(TCP/IPv4) ->Properties ->Advanced->DNS ->Append these DNS suffixes(in order)
