Eclipse Plug-in Download & Update Site

Warning: by default a new installation of CodeCollaborator Server version 5.0 and above does not allow 4.0 clients to connect.
If your server is version 5.x you should install an updated plugin from here:http://eclipse.smartbear.com/5.0
If your server is version 6.x you should install an updated plugin from here:http://eclipse.smartbear.com/6.0
If your server is version 7.x you should install an updated plugin from here:http://eclipse.smartbear.com/7.0

To download and install the CodeCollaborator Plug-in, simply aim yourEclipse at this address:

http://eclipse.smartbearsoftware.com

If your Eclipse installation cannot access the Smart Bear update site, you can downloadan archived (zipped) version of the update site.

Detailed Instructions

  1. Go into Eclipse.
  2. Open the "Find and Install Updates" dialog.CodeCollaborator Eclipse Plug-in
  3. Choose "Search for new features to install" and click "Next."CodeCollaborator Eclipse Plug-in
  4. Push the "New Remote Site..." button at the right of the screen.CodeCollaborator Eclipse Plug-in
  5. Fill out the "New Update Site" dialog with Name="Smart Bear Software" and URL="http://eclipse.smartbearsoftware.com" and click "OK".CodeCollaborator Eclipse Plug-in
  6. Select the Smart Bear Software update site and click "Finish" at the bottom of the dialog.CodeCollaborator Eclipse Plug-in
  7. At this point Eclipse will show a progress dialog as it searches forplug-ins at the Smart Bear update site.
  8. When the "Update" dialog appears, check "Smart Bear Software." Optionallyyou can expand the tree node to only install certain plug-ins. When finished,press "Next."CodeCollaborator Eclipse Plug-in
  9. Accept the EULA and press "Next."
  10. The detailed list of features (groups of plugins) will be presented. Click "Finish" to installthe plugins.
  11. A progress dialog appears as Eclipse installs the plugins.
  12. Some of our plug-ins are not signed. In that case you will get this warningdialog. Just click "Install All."CodeCollaborator Eclipse Plug-in
  13. Eclipse might ask you to restart the workbench. You probably should.
  14. Done!
