How to recover root password in Centos 6 ?

How to recover the root password ？

1) Press ' E ' when starting the server.

2) Select Kernel followed by pressing ' E ' to edit the commands.

3) Add 'single' or '1' then press enter.

4) Press " B " to boot server with single user mode.

5) Use command 'passwd root' to change the root password.

6) Use command 'reboot' to reboot server.
