Summary of My Spring Semester

Preface

About five months ago (February 19, 2019), I planned my upcoming spring semester, including papers and blogs need to write, books need to read, projects need to code, etc. which I want to finish during this period.

Now I retrospect and summary, then take an one or two weeks vacation at home, to formally end this semester and start a new busy one.

Plans

Following are plans I made five months ago,

Papers

Planned

• TKDE
  Due to many many reasons, this paper stills a semi-finished paper.
• ICDE
  Fails, too. Though I don’t want to excuse myself, but there are too many things extract my time and attention (school staffs). At the second year of graduate life, maybe I could be more concentrate at papers.

Unplanned

• INFOCOM
  Anyway, I did this, silently waiting to the notification at December 15.

Blogs

At February 19, I have written about 13 articles at CSDN, totally 900 views, now I have 30 articles, totally 6,080 views.

Planned

• Probability Function and Probability Distribution: Written but not finished, for many reasons.
• Ambiguous Terminology in Machine Learning: Even didn’t start writing.
• Translate book <neural networks and deep learning>: Yeah I finish this, very big efforts made to translate this book, totally more than 130K Chinese words (though poorly article views).

Beause at that time I start writing code by using TensorFlow 2.0 so I write lots articles related.
