2019 Issues of Human Activity Recognition in Healthcare
This article discusses the topic of which category of sensors suit for which healthcare scenario. It divides sensors into four categories includes smartphone, wearable sensors and non-contact sensors. It summarises the healthcare scenario into people with skin disease，healthy older adults, people with chronic physical disabilities and people with cognitive disabilities. The research shows non-contact sensing may be useful in people with skin disease scenario, wearable sensor is extremly helpfule in people with chronic physical disabilities, each of all the three types of sensors has its own merits in healthy older adults. non-contact sensors shoud not be used in people with cognitive disabilities scenario.
