@jakub 的解决方案最终为我解决了问题。我卸载了通过pacman 安装的rust 版本。为了替换它，我安装了rustup，然后使用rustup，安装了最新的夜间版本的rust（1.60）。一旦我这样做了，安装 cryptography 包就可以了。

如果您使用的是rustup，只需确保将~/.cargo/bin 添加到您的PATH安装之前。另外，我用来通过 rustup 安装 rust 的命令是rustup toolchain install nightly。
