我对部分持久性的困惑是某些信息正在保存到文档中。其他（不太重要的）信息仅保存到 localStorage，因此不会持久化。

在我的情况下，答案是 - 如果您希望在页面重新加载或保存并重新打开 Office 365 应用程序时保持持久性 - 保存到文档。不要依赖 localStorage 做任何事情。
